4 Seasons of Photos-Wedding,Trash The Dress, Engagement Photos

We are so happy to share this post with everyone it has been a year and a half in the making.  🙂

Karen and Nick were happily married on 10/10/10 🙂

We have been creating various engagement sessions for over a year, to have all 4 seasons for them to hang in the new house. We often travel back and forth to Ontario Canada to work with clients. So this was a real treat to keep updating the photos !

We have all gotten along so well over the time we have known each other, Karen and Nick decided to spend the Honeymoon here in the wonderful Mayan Riviera at, The Royal Playa De Carmen.  This is a fantastic hotel steps from the beach and 5th Ave the towns main shopping district.

To go back to the beginning of our story together we have to start with letting you all know how big of a fan Nick is of Hockey and especially the Toronto Maple Leafs, friends and family have given him the nickname of “Thomas” after a player he bares a striking resemblance too. The 1st session was a walk in the park and a quick tour of a hockey arena and a quick 2 min out in the penalty box !

We all decided for the following shoot we had to incorporate the rest of the family, you will see that Karen and Nick have 2 Siberian Huskies and that just love to sit and pose for the camera.

Now we are at the Big Day !

10/10/10 – We had a Perfect 10 for Weather, it was also the full bloom weekend in Southern Ontario for the Fall Leaves, and we had a heat wave just for the weekend, I tried to explain to Karen and Nick I had brought the warm winds from Mexico with me for the special day. The location was a wonderful Golf Course tucked away in the Hills of Aurora, and we couldn’t of asked for it all to have come together any better. Enough of me blabbing, Enjoy a few of the photos….

As you can see you couldn’t have asked for a more Perfect day !

We aren’t finished yet, this as I told you before as been a project long in the making and the Final Chapter in this 1st edition of this Family album had to be complete. As Karen and Nick left for the Mayan Rivera they enjoyed a few days of peace and quiet at their hotel on the Beach, Drinking Champagne and enjoying new company. But when they arrived we were under a large storm watch, the weather cleared a few days later and it was time again to go for a session. This time we met at the hotel and Lorena provided Make Up and Hair for Karen, Nick and I enjoyed a few beers and off to the beach we went.

A fun experience for all of us, a wonderful day of photos and the 1st chapter : “The Wedding Story” is complete.
