This was our very first time at Hacienda Tres Rios. This property has it all: it’s own cenotes, animals the cute kinds everywhere, and a fantastic beach with great colour in the water. We hope to be back again soon. The TTD this couple did was a few days before the wedding as she was wearing two different dresses. We are thrilled with the results and looking forward to seeing this jet setting, high flying couple soon.

My wife and I decided to have a destination wedding at Hacienda Tres Rios in Cancun, Mexico with a small number of family and friends. Being the typical guy I am, my wife researched and came across Photos in Cancun. From the start they were absolutely amazing and made time to answer all of our questions no matter how little or big they might’ve been. They were so professional with us, making sure as we were so busy back home getting other details in order they contacted us proactively to finish arrangements.
When we got down to Cancun, we heard from them and finalized plans for our wedding shots. I have never had so much fun taking photos before with anyone, let alone as a guy! They made us feel so comfortable and fun it was an absolute blast.
On the day of the ceremony, we unfortunately had a wedding coordinator that didn’t really know what their job was, so without even asking Derek and Lorena started helping the staff and informing us what was going on to keep our ceremony on time and to make sure our wedding was absolutely perfect! I have never seen that.
The thing that put the icing on the cake was knowing that my grandparents couldn’t make it due to health concerns, we had planned to use Skype and my Ipad to let be there for the ceremony. Unfortunately with US Verizon, it was not allowing me to make the connection and so just before the ceremony I thought my dreams were tossed out the window. Derek is so selfless, he offered up and used his own data and Ipad to make the connection and sure enough, there were my grandparents! I can’t thank him enough for this, I will always owe him for that kind move.
We will forever be loyal customers to Photos in Cancun, and can’t say good enough things about them. The quality of pictures, people, and attitude they have towards their profession and life is not seen too much anymore in the world.
Again, thank you for making our day so special. We will forever remember how much you did for us.
