Playacar is one of the best locations in all of Playa del Carmen. You have a quiet beach, you are a 5 minute walk from the very busy 5th Ave., and in a hotel with wonderful food and service.

This was our first time at the Wedding Terrace away from others. It was a great change from people in the back of our photos in their speedos !

We had a great time, stayed for a bit of the reception, and took our drive back to Cancun !

My husband Jeff and I had our wedding at the Playacar Palace on April 29, 2012 and we used Derek & Lorena from Photos in Cancun for our photography. We are so glad we did! Derek & Lorena were laid back and fun. Not only did they get some great photos from our wedding day, but we got all of the photos on disc that night before they left – no other photographers I researched do this. I cannot wait to see the edited images (Although it’s hard to narrow down all of the great photos!). If I were doing it all over again, I would definitely use Derek & Lorena. We were so happy with how everything turned out and extremely glad we will have these great photos to look back on for years to come. Thank you Derek & Lorena!
